Medi pedi are the ultimate foot treatment, it combines medical podiatry treatment with the aesthetics of a facial for your feet.
What happens during a Medi Pedi treatment?
The Medi Pedi starts with routine podiatry care which involves the removal of calluses, hard skin, corns, cuticle and nail care.
After that the foot is cleansed with a hot flannel and foot wash, An exfoliating foot scrub is applied. The scrub is cleansed away with hot flannels and a foot mask as well lots of hydrating oils are applied to the feet.
Hot paraffin wax can be applied in layers on both feet and the feet are wrapped in warm booties.
The oils hydrate the skin and have many benefits such as nourishing, increasing circulation, improving resilience and the appearance of dry, hard skin and cracks.
The treatment ends with a luxury foot and leg massage.

Medical grade liquid paraffin wax has a unique ability to retain heat and transfer this to the foot and ankle; reducing swelling in muscles, decreasing inflammation of joints and soft tissue, and penetrating into the joints to soothe and provide medium term relief of arthritic complaints.
The moisturising properties of paraffin wax help to soften and smooth the skin by removing dead skin cells. In addition to the moisturising effects, paraffin wax treatments are also a type of heat therapy that can assist in improving blood flow to reduce pain and joint stiffness.
This can be offered as a standalone treatment, or as an add-on, treatment after a routine podiatry treatment or incorporated in the medi-cal pedicure package.
